Injector Nozzle Pressure Sensor

Constructed of brass, this switch is placed between the Water Solenoid and the Injector Nozzle.  When the Water Solenoid opens and the system is pressurized by the water pump, this switch will trigger a light in the cockpit so you know water is being injected.  Also, after you let off the gas pedal, if the light remains on, the mister nozzle is clogged, not allowing the water into the engine.  Many people using water injection have increased boost above normal levels.  If the water system fails for any reason, you will know about it, making this a very cost effective engine protection system.   The fittings are not included.  There are (2) female 1/8" NPT ports, so fittings must be male 1/8" NPT.   This switch is specifically designed for applications just as this, rather than just taking a standard plastic pressure switch like another company does, which is usually only rated up to 100 psi, which is the same output of the pump.  This pressure detector is rated to withstand pressures of 250 psi, so if you have your own high pressure pump, this will be compatible unlike other company's pressure detectors.  The pressure detector includes a small red light which is mounted in a gauge pod, or any other discrete area.
