All 150 PSI Kits now include the Black Custom Shurflo 150 PSI pump pictured above, which has been specifically designed for Methanol & Water Injection.  The Kit picture will be updated soon to include this new pump.

All Engine Runup Kits now come with a Check Valve setup, instead of the Solenoid.  This change was based on many factors, but the main one is the simplicity of mounting the Check Valve directly at the Injector Mount, allowing zero chance of fluid being replaced by air during vacuum/partial boost scenarios.  The pictures of the Kits will be updated soon to reflect the changes.

The 150 PSI Stage 2 Single Stage Kit has a 150 PSI Water Pump, along with a couple of more components to the 150 PSI Stage 1 Single Stage Kit.  Our pumps are all Shurflo pumps, designed by the company to put out a maximum pressure.  Other companies will buy the cheaper Shurflo pumps, and then increase their output to as much as 200 psi.  This is not what the cheaper pumps were designed for, and will lead to early failure.  All of Engine Runup's Shurflo pumps were designed to output the pressure that we advertise them for.  Be cautious of a cheap 150+ psi pump, as this pump is most likely not designed for above 100 psi.   Ask for the Shurflo Model number.  If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.  Any component failure can be serious in certain Water Injection applications, especially if it is the pump, the heart of the system.  A filter is now included to ensure that tiny bits of debris do not clog your injector.  An inline Pressure Detector is also included which serves a dual purpose.  It is placed between the Check Valve Injector Mount and the Pump, and when the injector is pressurized, it triggers a switch which illuminates a light in the cockpit so you know everything is working correctly.  The same sensor also serves as a clogged nozzle detector.  When you let off the gas, your water injection kit will immediately switch off as well as the light in the cabin.  If your nozzle is clogged, the pressure will remain in the system between the solenoid and the injector, causing the light in the cockpit to stay illuminated.   The pressure detector is rated at a pressure of 250 psi.  This kit is activated by a pressure switch, which controls the Custom Shurflo Pump, to provide instant on/off operation.  Search all you want, you will simply not find a more complete kit for a more affordable price.  Engine Runup keeps overhead costs down, so the savings can be passed on to you.  This kit can be (and all of our Kits can be) controlled by any Stand Alone or Piggy Back computer if they support water injection.

This kit comes with clampless tubing and fittings, so the install is much cleaner and show quality.

When purchasing this kit, you will have the option to add a Dual Nozzle Upgrade.  This allows two nozzles instead of one for the Single Stage Kits, or four nozzles instead of two for the Dual Stage Kits.  With this upgrade, you will use two smaller injectors, in the place of one large one.  The smaller Nozzles have a smaller water droplet size (measured in microns) versus a larger nozzle.  So instead of one 4 gph injector, this upgrade allows you to run two 2 gph injectors.  Another advantage of this is you can mount the nozzles apart from each other, allowing better dispersal into the air stream.  This is not a mandatory upgrade, but you can see it has its advantages.
